In life, it truly is amazing how people can
come and people may go
but if you just spend enough time being who you are, those that matter
the
most in life will enter your world unsolicited and the mythical Gods
will
deliver up the Muses of Fame, Fortune and Fate to your world as they
deem
fit. I never asked or searched for the famous to enter my world,
but
for some fabulous reason, they did.
I cherish every memory of each
and all with the love and respect they so deserve.
John Bonham (May 31, 1948 to
sept 25, 1980)- Drummer - Led Zeppelin
- John shared his dreams in a way no person has ever done with me. He
loved
his wife Pat so much and she and the kids were always in his heart;
even
on the road he waited for her phone call and relished in the fact that
he
married the most beautiful woman on Earth.
Phil Lynott (Aug. 20, 1949
to Jan 4, 1986) - Lead Singer - Thin Lizzy -
A friend like this is tough to find and even tougher to replace.
A
true jewel of a human being.
Claudia Jennings (Dec. 20, 1949
to Oct. 3, 1979) - Actress/Playmate - Man
Who Fell To Earth - If I could have dreamed up a real life sister, she
was
the person I chose to love like that. I miss her with all my
heart.
Leon Russell Wilkeson (April
2, 1952 - July 27, 2001) - Guitarist -
Lynard Skynyrd - Some individuals are just pure magic and you were one
of
them. You never passed judgment on anyone and you loved your fans
like
they were family and knew how to treat each one with that very dignity.
You often said your fame was short lived.
Jim McCauley - TV
Producer/Writer - The Tonight Show - Never let a moment
pass that you don't tell a friend what they mean to you because one day
they
may not be there. My last phone call with Jim was to tell him what he
meant
to me.
Mick Ronson (May 26,
1946 to Apr. 23, 1993) - Guitarist - Davie Bowie
- A fabulous person whose life was cut short to fast and too soon.
Cozy Powell (Dec. 29, 1947
to April 5, 1998) - I will never forget those
nights at Richie Blackmoore's home in the Hollywood Hills, and how the
winds
howled and the candles went out when we talked about raising spirits.
Marc Bolan (Sept 30, 1947 to
Sept 16, 1977) - Lead Singer - T.Rex - You were
the reason I loved the music the way I did. Your friendship and
imagination
and smile lit up the room.
Freddie Sessler - NY'er -
Rolling Stones - Dearest Freddie, the music just
didn't seem the same without you there.
Orson Welles (May 16, 1915
to Oct. 10, 1985)- Rennaisance Man - Too many
to list - A mentor that knew how to teach an eager pupil how to dream
and
to explore those dreams.
Paul Kossoff (Sept14, 1950
to March 19, 1976) - Guitarist - Free - It still
hurts to know you went too soon. You had so much to offer. Your
love
of your family was well known.

Sammy
when I was a child.
